First Brewery in Canada, before Canada Eh!

The first brewery in the Western Hemisphere was in 1786 located in what is now Montreal, Quebec.

Molson’s first brewery was located on the Saint Lawrence River in Montreal and was founded by John Molson. Today the Molson family continues to maintain its operations today.
