Farmer’s Almanac Discovered in 1949

In 1949 there was a discovery of a Farmers’ Almanac in the Sumerian city of Nippur (modern day Niffer, Iraq). A clay tablet containing a fathers advice to his son on how to grow crops. The tablet has been dated to 1700 BCE.
