Canadian Northwest Passage Expedition will be by Sail

In 1903-05 a crew of six brave men, commanded by Roald Engelbregt Gravning Amundsen, a Norwegian Polar Explorer, at sail on a 47 ton Sloop named Gjoa. They sailed east to west, following the northern Canadian coastline and eventually ending at Herschel Island in the Yukon.
