Tarzan major motion picture… Totally Digital

Tarzan first major motion picture to have be produced and exhibited entirely with digital technology produced by Walt Disney Pictures. The animated feature was based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs story. The film was produced and mastered entirely digitally using animation, composition, and editing software. The film was run using film-less digital projection systems at three U.S. theatres: one in Orlando, FL, one in Burbank, CA and one in Irvine, CA, on July 23, 1999.
