The first Housekeeping magazine was The Englishwoman’s Domestic Magazine. This monthly magazine published in London by Samuel Beeton with the assistance of his wife, Isabella Beeton. The magazine began in 1852, with a price of two-pence a copy, subjects covered were sewing, cooking, and other practical matters.
