Dentists with professional credentials

In 1699, when King Louis XIV authorized the College of Surgeons admit dentistry students to take a two-year course in the mouth surgery and tooth restoration. Upon completion of the course, graduates receive professional dental credentials and were then allowed to advertise themselves as Òtooth experts.Ó
