3D Molecular Analysis of Vitamin B12

Three-dimensional molecular analysis was done of Vitamin B12 in the form of cyanocobalamin, substance aiding in the development of red blood cells. Molecular geometry was discovered by British biochemist and crystallographer, Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin’s research from 1948 to 1956. A british built computer was used to perform complex calculations of x-ray crystallographic data into a 3D molecular structure.
