Pasta Not an Italian Invention

Most people believe that pasta was created by the Italians, not true. Try China. According to legend, the idea was brought from China to Italy by the Venetian traveller Marco Polo in 1295.
Another possible route was through India, Persia, or the Arab countries, all places where noodles were eaten in the early 13th century.
