First Biplane Airmail Flight

A Humber-Sommer biplane piloted by Henri Becquet flew over 6,000 pieces of mail from Allahabad to Naini Junction, India on February 18, 1911 or a distance of 5 miles (8 kilometres). Thus, becoming the first airmail short distance flight.
