Australopithecines Used Stone Tools

The earliest modern humans, Australopithecines first used stone tools as discovered in the fossil fields of Gona, Ethiopia by Ethiopian paleoanthropologist Sileshi Semaw and his team in 1995. The stone tools date back to 2.6 million years BCE.
