Liberator of Ecuador

Free Ecuador leader, Antonio Jose de Sucre was the chief general of Simon Bolivar in the struggle for South American independence from Spain. He served two years as President of Bolivia prior to returning to Ecuador in 1828, and assassinated on June 4, 1830.
