Saab Introduced Headlight Wipers

Swedish carmaker Saab-Scania Aktiebolag introduced the headlight washer/wiper in its Sonett ill model debuting at the 1970 New York Auto Show. The Swedish Automobile Association awarded its Gold Medal to Saab for this safety innovation.
