The First Artificial Insemination Centre for Horses

Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov would collect semen from a stallion (male horse) when it mounted a fake mare (fake female horse). One a sample was collected, it would be diluted and stored. When needed the diluted sample would be inserted in to the genital track of a real mare.
